DAY 1-3
Easy all-freeway travel to Sturbridge, Massachusetts with a super surprise stop along the way.  (CB morning 2,3)

DAY 4
Enjoy the quaintness of Kennebunkport for lunch and shopping.  View the home of the 1st President and Barbara Bush as we drive along Ocean Avenue.
Stop in Cape Elizabeth for a visit to Portland Head Light.  First operated in 1791 under the authorization of President George Washington, it was the first light completed after the founding of the United States and is one of the oldest lighthouses in continuous use in the country.  Our travels end today in Bangor, Maine.    (CB)

DAY 5
Continuing our travels north along the Atlantic Coast we will cross the Canadian border into New Brunswick - part of the Atlantic Provinces. Our Atlantic  Tours Guide will meet up with us in St  John.  A city tour will include the Reversing Falls (one of many amazing wonders we will experience on this awesome adventure).  At low tide the Saint John River descends into the ocean.  With the incoming tide, the ocean rises upstream through the chasm - reversing it's previous direction.  Lodging will be in St John.  (CB, D)

DAY 6
Another wonder today will be found in Moncton, NB.  Imagine sitting at the bottom of a steep hill with the engine in neutral and being pulled bu a large - invisible magnet up to the top of the hill?  Crazy but true!  It's called Magnetic Hill.  Travel along the Bay of Fundy and view the Hopewell Rocks.  Ocean tides have carved the Flower Pot Rocks, pillars of sandstone and conglomerate rock with alsam fir and dwarf spruce growing on top.  When the tide is out visitors can walk on the beach below the rocks.  At high tide, the rocks resemble islands.  The rest of this adventureous day is an experience you won't find anywhere else on our tours (and I've never seen it on anyone elses either!).  SHHH!  It's a secret but you'll be amazed and "satisfied" when it's over!  The Confederation Bridge will bring us to another Atlantic Providence, Prince Edward Island.  (CB, SHHH)

DAY 7
Our guide will show us the highlights of PEI along with a visit to "Anne of Green Gables" homestead.  Later we will take the ferry across the straits to Nova Scotia.  Our 1st of the next two evenings will be spent in Halifax.  (CB)

DAY 8
Breakfast will be included today at the restaurant at Peggy's Cove.  Mail a letter to friends back home from their lighthouse postoffice.  Explore the gift shop for that certain treasure.  Continue down the southern coast to Lunenburg, considered one of the prettiest towns in Canada.  Tour the Fisheries Museum in this UNESCO World Heritage Site.  There will be time for on your own to shop the many boutiques and stores and have lunch. Visit the Cidadel in Halifax and a stop at the cemetery where many of the victims of the Titanic are buried.  Our evening will be back at our hotel in Halifax.  (B)

DAY 9
We'll continue our countryside tour of Nova Scotia with a stop at Grand Pre National Historic Site - another site on Canada's Short List to be recognized as a World Heritage Site with UNESCO.  Grand Pre commemorates the period of colonization and settlement of the area by Acadians as well as their Deportation in 1755.  The statue of "evangeline", the heroine of Longfellow's epic poem is located on this site.  Lunch will be included in Digby before we board the ferry back to St John, NB for our final night in Canada. (CB, L, D)

DAY 10
Travel back down the eastern seaboard to Salem, Massachusetts for our evenings lodging.  (CB)

DAY 11
Overnight in Niagara Falls, Ontario.  Our property is located right in the heart of all the souviner shops and restaurants. Walk a few blocks down to the falls and watch the lighting from the viewing stands or one of the restaurant patios along the parkway.

DAY 12
Todays travel takes us across Ontario and the Blue Water Bridge into Michigan.  Appropriate stops will be made as we travel to Manistee for our final overnight at the Little River Casino.  Receive a casino package with food discounts and free play.

DAY 13
Cross Lake Michigan on the SS Badger car ferry.  Enjoy on board activities, relax in the movie theatre, or simply enjoy the cruise from inside or outside areas.  Expect a late afternoon return to the cities.
